Alignerr is seeking an AI / Emerging Tech Security Analyst (AI Training) for a fully remote hourly contract. You will probe frontier models, assess real‑world threat scenarios, and help ensure safe, reliable AI systems.

You will work asynchronously 10–40 hours per week, reviewing prompt injection, data leakage and system misuse, and applying threat modeling to evolving AI technologies. This role suits security professionals who are curious about AI and prefer flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Background in cybersecurity, information security, or related field.
• Strong threat modeling and risk assessment skills.
• Curious about how AI systems are built, deployed and exploited.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AI and LLM security scenarios to understand how models behave under adversarial or unexpected conditions.
• Review and assess cases involving prompt injection, data leakage, model abuse, and system misuse.
• Classify security vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations based on real-world impact and likelihood.
• Apply security threat modelling frameworks to emerging AI technologies.
• Evaluate AI system behavior and provide structured feedback to improve safety and alignment.
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule.
