Job summary

Alignerr, a remote-first security-focused organization, seeks a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst (AI Training) to analyze security scenarios and contribute to training datasets for AI models. This role emphasizes hands-on network and endpoint security work, with a strong focus on real-world threat analysis and clear documentation.

You will collaborate with top AI research teams, review security cases, and document outcomes while working asynchronously on task-based assignments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint security roles.
• Familiarity with firewalls, EDR, IAM, SIEMs, and enterprise tooling.
• Ability to explain complex security issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios drawn from modern enterprise environments.
• Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to identify what went wrong and why.
• Classify incidents, misconfigurations, and control failures based on real operational data.
• Create, label, and validate security training and evaluation datasets used to improve AI systems.
• Clearly document root causes, attack paths, and business impact in structured formats.
