Job summary

Gallagher Animal Management is seeking a Sales & Engagement Specialist to grow adoption of eShepherd across Australia. You’ll work remotely with occasional travel, generating and qualifying opportunities, and building a strong pipeline while demonstrating solutions to livestock producers.

You’ll partner with BDMs, CS, and the broader eShepherd team to expand market adoption, manage relationships and drive revenue growth with a consultative, farmer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, or customer engagement.
• Experience within agriculture, AgTech, livestock, dairy, grazing systems or related industry.
• Understanding of livestock farming and grazing systems across beef and dairy operations.
• Proven success generating leads, building pipeline and closing opportunities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• CRM discipline and commercial awareness.
• A proactive, customer-focused and results-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Generate, qualify and convert sales opportunities.
• Source new business through referrals, industry connections, events and proactive outreach.
• Build and manage a healthy pipeline from qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close.
• Utilise CRM and sales reporting tools to manage activity, forecasting and opportunity progression.
• Support regional sales strategies and contribute to customer adoption and revenue growth.
• Develop trusted relationships with farmers, producers and industry stakeholders.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to individual farming businesses.
• Position eShepherd solutions using a consultative sales approach.
• Lead customer discussions, manage objections and support successful onboarding.
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline growth, conversion rates and regional revenue outcomes.
