Job summary

Gallagher Animal Management seeks a Business Development Manager to drive sales growth of the eShepherd product range across Australia. This hunter role finds opportunities, opens doors, builds a strong pipeline and converts interest into revenue.

You will collaborate with sales, customer success, marketing and product teams to target new customers, build relationships, articulate the value of eShepherd and close deals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development and new business sales.
• Experience in agriculture or AgTech is preferred.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage proposals, tenders and commercial agreements.
• Strong CRM discipline and forecasting/reporting abilities.
• Results-focused with ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target and convert high-value opportunities.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from first contact to close.
• Develop trusted relationships with farmers, partners and distributors.
• Tailor the eShepherd solution to individual farming operations.
• Lead or support tenders, proposals and contract negotiations.
• Use CRM to manage sales activity, forecasting and pipeline visibility.
• Share market insights with Sales, Product and Marketing.
