Job summary

Danacom Communication Pty Ltd – Punchbowl NSW is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead remedial and defect rectification projects across Class 2 strata, commercial and mixed-use buildings. You will oversee subcontractors, coordinate site activities and ensure QA and close-out documentation.

The ideal candidate has strong project management experience, good communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders while aligning with safety and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in remedial building, defect rectification, or Class 2 projects.
• Strong project management and subcontractor coordination.
• Understanding of QA, tendering and defect processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, organisation and documentation skills.
• Building, construction, engineering or related qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage remedial and defect rectification projects across Class 2 strata, commercial and mixed-use buildings
• Prepare scopes, RFQs, tenders and project documentation
• Coordinate facade, waterproofing, concrete repair and rope-access subcontractors
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress and manage QA and hold points
• Maintain defect registers, variations, reports and close-out documentation
• Support NCAT matters with document control and evidence collation
• Liaise with engineers, strata managers, owners’ corporations and subcontractors
• Track budgets, manage variations and ensure projects meet safety and compliance requirements
