Job summary

Landlay Consulting Group seeks a Building Consultant to join our Remedial Building & Engineering team in Marrickville. You will lead defect investigations, develop remediation strategies, and oversee project delivery for Class 2 structures, working with senior engineers to provide practical engineering solutions.

Ideal candidates hold Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing and a Diploma in Building and Construction, with 2–3+ years’ project management and site inspection experience,

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing and Diploma in Building and Construction with 2–3+ years in project management and building diagnostics.
• Experience with site inspections and contractor coordination.
• Strong understanding of Australian codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and building investigations.
• Develop scope of works, specs and remediation strategies.
• Produce clear client reports and technical recommendations.
• Manage project delivery: schedules, QA, budgets.
