Waratah, a John Deere company, is seeking a Customer Support Specialist – Forestry to support customers, dealers and service partners across the Asia Pacific region. Based in Melton, VIC with relocation support available, you will provide technical and product support, train operators and work with advanced forestry equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in forestry, product support, field service, heavy equipment or a related technical environment.
• Practical knowledge of forestry machinery or forestry operations.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience operating, commissioning, maintaining or supporting machinery.
• Ability to investigate technical issues and follow them through to resolution.
• Experience delivering technical training, operator coaching or practical demonstrations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Proactive, service-oriented with ownership and accountability.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work independently or with teams.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical and product support to customers, dealers, service agents and field teams.
• Commission forestry machinery and support new product introductions.
• Deliver operator and technical training through demonstrations, workshops and coaching.
• Travel to customer and dealer locations to investigate and resolve issues.
• Help customers and dealers optimise machine performance and overall experience.
• Support technical cases and develop clear, timely solutions.
• Identify emerging product issues using field reports and data.
• Contribute to product improvements with feedback to engineering and manufacturing.
