Job summary

Resthaven is seeking a Relieving Assistant Cook to work across our residential sites including Mt Gambier, Port Elliot and Murray Bridge. This permanent part-time role offers regular daytime hours and a chance to contribute to residents' meals in consultation with care plans.

You will prepare nourishing meals from quality ingredients, follow food safety guidelines, and support a small kitchen team to deliver meals that meet dietary needs and preferences.

Qualifications

• Experience in food handling and preparation services.
• Experience in Aged Care or a similar field, with a proven ability to lead a team and manage a kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety legislation, IDDSI and allergens.
• Possess a passionate, creative, and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

Resthaven offers you regular, daytime working hours, giving you a healthy work life balance and job continuity. You will assist our residents by preparing nourishing meals in consultation with individual care plans and taking into consideration special dietary needs.
