Job summary

Resthaven Incorporated is seeking a Relieving Assistant Cook to work across our residential sites in Mt Gambier, Port Elliot and Murray Bridge. This permanent part-time role offers regular daytime hours, supporting residents by preparing meals in line with individual care plans and dietary requirements.

You will craft appealing menus with fresh ingredients, get to know residents' preferences and take pride in contributing to their everyday enjoyment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food handling and preparation services.
• Experience in Aged Care or similar, with ability to lead a team and manage a kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety legislation, IDDSI and allergens.
• Passionate, creative, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

Resthaven offers you regular, daytime working hours, giving you a healthy work life balance and job continuity. You will assist our residents by preparing nourishing meals in consultation with individual care plans and taking into consideration special dietary needs.
