Job summary

Resthaven Incorporated invites applications for a full-time Chef relieving capacity across metropolitan and regional sites in South Australia. You will prepare appealing menus for a diverse client base, using your culinary skills and qualifications while upholding high hygiene standards.

Enjoy daytime hours with job continuity, travel between Mt Gambier, Murray Bridge and Port Elliot, and the support of Resthaven’s inclusive team. A driver’s licence and vehicle access are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent) required.
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with older people.
• Knowledge of food safety legislation.
• Flexibility to travel to all residential sites as required, including Mt Gambier, Port Elliot and Murray Bridge.
• Driver's licence and motor vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare appealing menus for a diverse clientele.
• Cook across multiple Resthaven sites with fresh, high-quality dishes.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Travel to Mt Gambier, Port Elliot and Murray Bridge as required.
