Job summary

Anton Murray Consulting is recruiting a Relationship Manager – Equity Capital Markets in Sydney to drive corporate listings and elevate the venue's market profile. This is a highly business development-focused role centered on originating listings in Australia and coordinating with flagship regional hubs.

You'll work with SGX and HKEX to explore cross-listings and dual-listings, while actively growing APAC-focused corporate issuers, investment banks, and advisors.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of post-graduate experience in ECM, corporate listings, or related fields.
• Networks across Hong Kong and mainland China are desirable; Mandarin/Cantonese is an asset.
• Solid understanding of capital markets, IB, or exchange infrastructure; exposure to AU, HK, or SG ecosystems.
• Entrepreneurial, commercially-minded with strong BD / B2B sales abilities.
• Excellent communication with C-suite executives and leaders.

What you'll be doing

• Corporate Listing Origination: Drive frontline business development initiatives to identify, map, and secure new corporate listings within the Australian market.
• Exchange Collaboration: Work in close alignment with key regional exchange partners, specifically SGX and HKEX, to explore cross-listings, dual-listings, and regional market connectivity.
• APAC Client Growth: Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with South-East Asian and APAC-focused corporate issuers, investment banks, and professional advisors.
• Cross-Border Engagement: Assist leadership in engaging with regional market participants to facilitate cross-border capital flow and listing opportunities.
• Broker & Distribution Connectivity: Develop commercial relationships with domestic and regional stockbroking firms and trading platforms to broaden investor distribution and improve market access.
• Commercial Proposals: Support senior leadership in structuring commercial proposals, pricing initiatives, and joint venture frameworks with strategic institutional partners.
• Pipeline Infrastructure: Maintain accurate relationship mapping, commercial tracking, and performance reporting frameworks using CRM tools to optimize the sales and listings pipeline.

What we're looking for

• Experience Level: An early-career professional, ideally with 5–10 years of post-graduate experience across equity capital markets (ECM), corporate listings, financial technology/vendor sales, or corporate relationship management.
• Regional Networks & Language: Professional networks across Hong Kong and mainland China are highly desirable. Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset, though not strictly mandatory, to effectively engage with regional stakeholders.
• Industry Exposure: A solid foundational understanding of capital markets, investment banking, corporate advisory, or exchange infrastructure—ideally with exposure to the Australian, Hong Kong, or Singaporean ecosystems.
• Partnership & BD Drive: A commercially minded, entrepreneurial individual with a demonstrated track record or high aptitude for business development and B2B corporate sales.
• Communication & Presence: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the confidence to pitch to C-suite executives, corporate founders, and high-level institutional market participants.
• Operational Excellence: Meticulous attention to detail regarding commercial terms, contract administration, and pipeline reporting frameworks within compliance guidelines.
• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
