Job summary

The GEO Group Australia at Ravenhall Correctional Centre is seeking a Reintegration Team Leader to guide a team delivering assessments, pre-release planning and reintegration support. You will oversee workflow, case management and staff development in a trauma-informed, client-centred framework.

The role focuses on strong partnerships, service quality, risk management and continuous improvement to reduce reoffending and improve community reintegration outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, Human Services or another relevant field, or equivalent substantial professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading, supervising or coordinating a team delivering case management, or related human services.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of evidence-informed rehabilitation, resettlement and reintegration practice for people leaving custody.
• Demonstrated ability to lead trauma-informed, strengths-based and person-centred practice for people with complex and intersecting needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, operational management, direction and support to Reintegration Specialists, promoting a constructive, accountable and collaborative team culture.
• Allocate and monitor caseloads and workflow to support equitable distribution, timely service delivery and responsiveness to client risk and priority needs.
• Provide structured professional supervision, feedback and development to strengthen staff capability.
• Deliver and oversee transition support, pre-release planning, parole assistance and reintegration services.
• Ensure trauma-informed, motivational and culturally responsive practice aligned with policy and standards.
• Monitor records, attendance and outcomes data, address gaps through feedback and follow-up.
• Coordinate resources to meet service outcomes and KPIs.
• Provide expert advice to staff and partners on transition and reintegration.
