Job summary

The Reintegration Team Leader at Ravenhall Correctional Centre will provide operational leadership and professional supervision to a team delivering assessments, pre-release planning and reintegration support. You will ensure services are person-centred, trauma-informed and responsive to complex needs.

This role requires strong collaboration with internal and external partners, expert case management, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare, Human Services or equivalent.
• Experience leading, supervising or coordinating a case-management team.
• Knowledge of evidence-informed rehabilitation, resettlement and reintegration.
• Ability to lead trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centred practice.
• Experience managing workflow, caseloads and data for performance.
• Ability to develop staff through reflective supervision and performance management.
• Judgement in managing complex practice, risk and operations.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to build partnerships to improve access and outcomes.
• Organisational, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Leadership experience in a custodial setting.
• Training in motivational interviewing or reflective practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision and support to Reintegration Specialists.
• Allocate and monitor caseloads and workflow for timely service delivery.
• Deliver structured supervision, feedback and development plans.
• Oversee transition support and pre-release planning.
• Ensure trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice.
• Monitor records and outcomes data for quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate resources to meet service delivery outcomes and KPIs.
• Advise staff and partners at pre-release meetings.
• Lead program development to address emerging needs.
• Ensure timely, high-quality risk assessments.
• Audit reintegration plans for quality and compliance.
• Analyze service data to identify trends and improvements.
