Job summary

APM WorkCare in Queensland is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to support clients recovering from injury or illness and to help them plan return-to-work and daily living. You will meet clients in person or virtually, conduct vocational and psychosocial assessments, provide supportive counselling, and collaborate with employers and healthcare partners to create achievable plans.

Applicants must hold a relevant degree and full registration with ESSA/AHPRA/ASORC/AASW, and have WWCC and

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Rehabilitation Counselling, or Social Work.
• Full registration with ESSA/AHPRA/ASORC/AASW.
• Pass a national criminal check prior to employment.
• Current WWCC (Working with children check).
• Full Australian working rights
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients in person or virtually to understand goals and challenges.
• Conduct vocational and psychosocial assessments.
• Provide supportive counselling to build resilience and readiness for work or daily life.
• Create return-to-work plans with clients, employers and healthcare partners.
• Celebrate progress and milestones.
