You’ll work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing emergency and primary healthcare to patients within a secure and structured environment.
Where You’ll Be Working
Clarence Correctional Centre is located in Lavadia, just outside Grafton in the Northern Rivers of NSW.
As Australia’s largest correctional centre, Clarence provides a unique opportunity to work within a large onsite healthcare service alongside experienced nurses, GPs and allied health professionals.
Located approximately 6 hours from Sydney and 3.5 hours from Brisbane, Grafton offers the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed regional lifestyle while continuing to develop your clinical career.
As a Casual Registered Paramedic, you’ll provide frontline clinical care across the facility, responding to emergencies and supporting patients with acute and ongoing healthcare needs.
You’ll be able to draw on your paramedic experience while developing your skills in primary and correctional healthcare.
We’re looking for a confident and adaptable Paramedic who can remain calm under pressure and work effectively as part of a team.
Experience in correctional, rural, remote or primary healthcare will be highly regarded, but isn't essential.
