Job summary

NSW Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network in Bathurst is seeking an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EN 2-5) for casual roles within the Primary Care team at Bathurst Correctional Centre. You will contribute to planning, delivering and evaluating nursing care, with flexible hours that vary week to week.

The role requires registration with AHPRA, at least one year of nursing experience, and a commitment to Aboriginal health priorities.

The Role

We're currently looking for a medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and with at least one full year of nursing experience.

The Enrolled Nurse (EN) contributes to planning, implementing and assisting in the evaluation of health issues and in the provision of nursing care for patients. This role is a casual position with opportunity to enjoy flexible hours that may vary week to week, depending on organisational needs.

Bathurst Correctional Centre is a mixed-security facility for male offenders located in the centre of Bathurst, 1 hour from Orange and the Blue Mountains, and 210 kilometres west of Sydney. The complex serves as a reception prison for western NSW.

On-site you'll find a close-knit clinical team led by a passionate & enthusiastic Nurse Unit Manager that encourages the development of staff.
