Job summary

Serco is seeking a Registered Nurse at Clarence Correctional Centre in NSW to deliver essential primary healthcare to a diverse inmate population within a modern, well‑resourced facility. This full‑time role offers a rotating roster and strong opportunities to influence health, rehabilitation and reintegration outcomes.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams and correctional staff in a secure, structured environment, with a focus on patient‑centred care.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience.
• Background in primary health, emergency, rural, or similar settings.
• Ability to complete required compliance checks (police checks, drug & alcohol testing).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, patient-centred primary healthcare to approximately 1,700 individuals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and correctional staff in a fast-paced, structured setting.
• Support rehabilitation and reintegration outcomes in a secure facility.
• Maintain compliance with nursing, safety and ethical standards.

You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and correctional staff in a fast-paced, structured setting where no two days are the same.

Experience in corrections or custodial healthcare is highly regarded-but not essential.
