Job summary

Adventist Retirement Plus Victoria Point is seeking compassionate and enthusiastic Registered Nurses for night shifts on a casual and permanent part-time basis. Provide a high standard of clinical care to residents in a not-for-profit aged care setting.

Successful applicants will receive ongoing support from the Facility Manager and Clinical Nurse, with opportunities for professional development and education programs.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA RN registration.
• Experience with doctors rounds.
• Keeping documentation up to date.
• ACIC Police Check clearance.
• Must have valid working rights in Australia.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Understanding AN-ACC assessments.
• Well developed organisation, time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Empathy with elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of clinical nursing care to residents.
• Work under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse and CNC.
• Attend educational programs and ongoing training.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration.
• Experienced requirements:
• Experienced with Doctor's rounds
• Keeping documentation up to date
• Clinical experience
• Can work directly under the Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNC)
• ACIC Police Check clearance.
• Must have valid working rights in Australia.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Understanding and knowledge of AN-ACC assessments.
• Well developed organisation, time management and communication skills.
• The ability to work as part of a team and independently; and
• Passion for aged care and the ability to demonstrate empathy with elderly residents.
• Attend a functional assessment.
