Job summary

Pines Living in Canberra is seeking registered and enrolled nurses to join our Residential Aged Care team on a casual basis. You will provide clinical support and ensure residents receive appropriate care to maintain quality of life.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team passionate about consumer care and have opportunities to enhance skills and professional development; duties include holistic assessments and clinical decisions.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA Registration
• Good time management skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to contribute to and work as part of a dynamic team in addition to operating independently
• Flexible to work on rotating shifts in the morning, afternoon and night
• A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people
