ARRCS is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to support Terrace Gardens Aged Care Facility in Palmerston on a permanent, part-time basis (25+ hours/week) with night shifts (21.30–06.45).

The role involves hands-on clinical care, mentoring junior staff, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team while roster shifts may rotate fortnightly to meet operational needs.

Registered Nurse - Terrace Gardens - Part-Time

ARRCS are currently sourcing a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to support the team and residents at Terrace Gardens Aged Care Facility on a permanent, part-time basis working 25+ hours per week.

We are looking for candidates who can work night shifts (21.30pm-06.45am)

Terrace Gardens Aged Care facility is in Palmerston and is a residential aged care facility housing 88 beds.

This role is being offered on a penalty driven rate of $51.26 - $53.84 / hour gross base (dependent of skills and experience) – plus salary packaging options.

This role of Registered Nurse will see you providing clinical care to our elderly residents. You will have care and compassion in your interaction and be someone who enjoys working a hands-on role whilst also leading and supporting more junior staff including our Support Workers to develop their skills and ensure as an organisation we are focused on quality care for our residents.

This role is suited to a RN who can commit a flexible and rotating roster – You will be required to work all levels of shifts including AM, PM and Overnight and, understand that your roster may change fortnightly to meet with operational needs.

Skills and experience

We will be reviewing applications who are able to demonstrate the following:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
• Full rights to work in Australia.
• Ability to liaise with a care team and to provide coordinated care.
• Knowledge of contemporary nursing practice.
• Demonstrated understanding of resident centred and residential based care services delivery.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural care team in a range of settings.
• Experienced in effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate computer skills.
