Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited's St Paul’s Northbridge is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical care to residents at our Northbridge aged care home. Reporting to the Care Manager, you’ll uphold person-centred care and work within a values-driven, not-for-profit setting.

You will lead and coach the personal care team, ensuring safety and compliance with Aged Care Standards, AN-ACC processes, and organisational policies.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing
• Thorough understanding of Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards
• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes

• Permanent Part Time - Tuesday & Wednesday Night shift & Friday Afternoon shift


• Pay rate - $48.50 - $60.30 per hour + superannuation

Reporting directly to the Care Manager, you will be providing a high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.

About the Role

• Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly


• Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar


• Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards


• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes


• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age - related health issues


• Strong coaching/training skills


• Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence


• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude


• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
