Job summary

Mercy Community are on the search for experienced Registered Nurses for Leinster Place in Rockhampton. The role is available for Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual arrangements, with sponsorship for the right candidate.

You will coordinate person-centred care, supervise staff, and work within a supportive team to enhance residents' independence and quality of life, including ANACC documentation for funding optimisation.

Qualifications

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience leading a team and supervising staff.
• Australian citizen, permanent resident or work visa without restrictions.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (NDIS Yellow Card) or ability to apply.
• Able to cover night shifts.

Job description

Mercy Community are on the search for an experienced Registered Nurses for our Residential Aged Care Facility Leinster Place in Rockhampton. We are looking for Full-Time, Part-Time and Casual Registered Nurses to join a highly experienced, passionate and resident focused team.

This position is responsibility for coordinating person-centred care to residents and supervision of staff across one or more clusters within the residential care facility. Working collaboratively within a professional team to provide excellent care and to improve the independence and quality of life of all residents.

This role involves but not limited to:

• Providing safe and competent clinical management and nursing interventions in accordance with recognised standards of practice & monitor and oversee staff practices to ensure a coordinated approach to resident care
• Ensuring residents, their families and significant others are included in the care planning process and engaged in decisions affecting the resident
• Coordinating and monitoring the planning, implementation and evaluation of service outcomes and nursing care standards
• Preparing ANACC documentation so that funding is optimised

About you

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in leading a team and supervising staff
• Be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, visa holder with no work restrictions
• Current and valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (NDIS Yellow Card) or ability to apply
• Must be able to cover night shifts
