Job summary

Resthaven On Quarry is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality resident care, coordinate care plans, supervise staff and ensure Aged Care Quality Standards compliance. Part-time and casual roles offer flexibility.

The role offers a base hourly rate of 43.64 to 56.99 AUD plus superannuation and benefits under a not-for-profit salary packaging model, with a supportive, values-led culture focused on wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
• NDIS Worker Clearance mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Knowledge of the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS).
• Patient-centred approach and compassionate care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centred care in line with care plans and preferences.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans with residents.
• Supervise and mentor personal care staff to ensure safe care delivery.
• Manage clinical procedures within scope and policies.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and safety regulations.

The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our residents. You will coordinate and manage care plans, supervise care staff, and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards. We have Part-Time and Casual roles available for anyone requiring flexibility. This role involves direct care responsibilities, collaboration with allied health professionals, and a strong focus on enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered Nurse qualification and AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 2 year of experience as a Registered Nurse

• An understanding of the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS)
