Sydney Local Health District seeks a Registered Nurse for Concord Repatriation General Hospital to deliver patient-centred, evidence‑informed care across a broad range of services for the local communities.

The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with patients and a multidisciplinary team, contributing to high‑quality veteran care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
• Willingness to work a 7 day rotating roster (am, pm, and nights).
• Acute care experience preferred.

About The Role

You will be based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, which has provided outstanding healthcare for more than 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the veteran community, the hospital now delivers a broad range of specialist and general health services to the communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and surrounding areas.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Ideal Candidate

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)

• Has full availability to work a 7 day rotating roster (am, pm and nights)
