Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking an Orthopedic Registered Nurse based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. You will join a dedicated Orthopaedic team, delivering patient-centred nursing care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote identified health outcomes.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration, demonstrate evidence-informed practice, and have orthopaedic or surgical experience if possible. Full working rights in Australia are required.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
• Has Surgical or Orthopaedic experience (preferred).
• All candidates must have full working rights within Australia

About The Role

You will be based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, which has provided outstanding healthcare for more than 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the veteran community, the hospital now delivers a broad range of specialist and general health services to the communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and surrounding areas.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Ideal Candidate
