Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse for Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. This permanent full-time role offers 38 hours per week and is based at a major metropolitan NSW Health facility.

The role involves patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team. NSW Health requires vaccination evidence and full working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care with individuals and the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified health outcomes.

About The Role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has…

• A current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• An understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
• Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• The ability to work Monday to Friday morning shifts, with varying start times.
• Experience in Operating Theatres or Anaesthetics is desirable.
• Recent surgical nursing experience in a tertiary referral centre is desirable.
