Job summary

IRT Macarthur in NSW is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse for a part-time position in a Residential Care Home. You will deliver personalised clinical care, supervise care workers and participate in assessments to support residents’ health and quality of life.

Night shifts are available on Monday and Tuesday, with Saturday morning shifts every second week. Hourly base rate ranges from $46.60 to $59.21, with shift penalties depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration.
• Night shift availability and experience in aged care.
• Knowledge of care for older adults and dementia-related needs.
• Strong communication and empathy with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to residents.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you'll help care for our residents' health and overall quality of life. Your personalised clinical care and empathetic approach will truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is a highly rewarding role!

We have a Part Time position available for a passionate clinician to utilise their skills in our Residential Care Home at IRT Macarthur.

We have night shifts available on Monday and Tuesday and Saturday morning shift every second week.

Hourly base rate between $46.60 and $59.21 per hour, plus shift penalties depending on experience.

Your work will include:

• Providing clinical care
• Managing and supervising care workers
• Undertaking client assessments
• Monitoring clients' care needs, evaluation care plans
• Providing treatment as required

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
• Night shift availability and experience in aged care setting
• Knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia related disorders and management of challenging behaviours
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A big heart - you're empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
• Experience working as a Registered Nurse in a residential care home environment
