Job summary

IRT Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality clinical care and compassionate support to residents at our Kirrawee residential care home. The role is part-time with Friday morning shifts, offering flexibility to cover extra shifts across Kirrawee and Sans Souci Gardens.

You will hold a Bachelor of Nursing and be registered with AHPRA, bringing experience in ageing care and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing with current nursing registration (AHPRA).
• Knowledge of ageing clinical issues including dementia and challenging behaviours.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in a residential care home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to residents.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you'll help care for our residents' health and overall quality of life. Your personalised clinical care and empathetic approach will truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is a highly rewarding role!

We have a Part Time position available for a passionate clinician to utilise their skills in our Residential Care Home at IRT Kirrawee.

The role would be working Friday morning shifts as bench strength with the flexibility to pick up extra shifts across Kirrawee as well as Sans Souci Gardens.

Hourly base rate between $46.60 and $59.21 per hour, plus shift penalties depending on experience.

Your work may include:

• Providing clinical care
• Managing and supervising care workers
• Undertaking client assessments
• Monitoring clients' care needs, evaluation care plans
• Providing treatment as required

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
• Knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia related disorders and management of challenging behaviours
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A big heart - you're empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
• Experience working as a Registered Nurse in a residential care home environment
