IRT Australia is seeking kind-hearted Home Care Employees in the Campbelltown area to provide personalised in-home care that supports well-being and independence. Roles include Grade 3 level with flexible hours from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and some weekends.

Entry to mid-level positions (Grade 1-4B) are available; a Certificate III in Ageing with 500 hours' experience is required, along with a current First Aid/ CPR. A valid driver's licence and vehicle are essential.

• Full driver's licence with insured car; international licence holders to obtain an Australian licence within 3 months.

About the Role

We are looking for kind-hearted and empathetic home care employees in the Campelltown area that will provide support to our IRT home care customers by ensuring they receive personalised care that is tailored to promote their well-being, empower independence and engagement in preferred activities that are aligned with their health, happiness and interests.

Being a Homecare employee is about helping and assisting customers to maintain their independence and quality of life while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

IRT have multiple permanent part time positions for entry-level candidates (Grade 1 Home Care Employees) and experienced Home Care Employees (Grade 2, 3, & 4B Home Care Employees) available.

For this role, we are looking for:

• Home Care Employee – Grade Three - Located in the Campbelltown area .
• Certificate IIIin Ageing is needed with at least 500 hours experience in Home care and/or Aged care
• Monday – Friday and some weekends. Hours vary between 7am - 5pm .

Duties can include:

• Personal Care / Showering
• Cooking & Food Preparation
• Transports to Appointments and social engagements
• Providing Companionship
• Assistance to IRT customers to continue to live well and positively in their own home

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Full Driver's licence and a fully insured car ( If you have an international licence – we ask that you apply for an Australian licence within 3 months of working with IRT)
• Relevant Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
• At least 500 hours of professional Home Care/ Aged care experience
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR ( or willing to obtain)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – A Second Language is a bonus!
• Resilience and ability to work independently
• Available to work weekdays
• A big heart, empathy and a passion for supporting older Australians
