IRT William Beach Gardens in New South Wales is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred clinical care for residents. You will work with a collaborative team to support health, wellbeing and meaningful daily life for those in our care.

We offer an hourly base rate between $46.60 - $59.21 per hour, plus shift penalties depending on experience. We currently have 3 x Permenant Part Time opportunities for AM, PM and Night shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration.
• Knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia related disorders and management of challenging behaviours.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A big heart - you're empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible.
• Experience working as a registered nurse in an aged care centre environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents.
• Assess residents' clinical needs and develop, implement and review individualised care plans.
• Coordinate and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences.
• Complete admission, routine and ongoing clinical assessments.
• Administer medications, treatments and wound care in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
• Monitor residents' health, identify changes in condition and document care accurately.
• Lead infection prevention and control practices, including outbreak management.
• Support, mentor and supervise care staff to deliver exceptional resident care.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families and the wider care team.

About the Role
