Job summary

IRT Dalmeny is seeking two Permanent Full-Time Aged Care Employees to support residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing and quality of life. The roles are 38 hours per week across various shifts.

You will assist with daily living, personal care, medication support, and encourage participation in activities. A passion for caring for older Australians and relevant certificates are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent.
• Experience in aged or community care preferred.
• Empathetic, adaptable and passionate about helping older Australians.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living and personal care needs.
• Support participation in lifestyle and social activities.

About the Role

As an Aged Care Employee at IRT Dalmeny, you'll directly support our residents' physical and emotional wellbeing and overall quality of life. Your personalised care and empathetic companionship will truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is a highly rewarding role!

We currently have two Permanent Full-Time Aged Care Employee positions available, working across the week in a 38 hour per week capacity and being flexible with all shifts.

Your work may include:

• Assisting our residents with their daily living and personal needs such as eating, showering, personal hygiene, dressing, personal grooming and general mobility
• Helping with medication and simple wound dressings
• Supporting resident participation in lifestyle and social activities

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Supportor equivalent
• Experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in the aged care sector
• A big heart - you're empathetic, adaptable and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
