Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Killarney Vale Care Community on a fixed-term maternity leave contract, primarily for night shifts from October 2026 to February 2027. You will provide compassionate, person-centred clinical leadership and collaborate with care teams, families and other health professionals.

You will administer medications, complete assessments, care planning, documentation and mentor junior staff while delivering safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration and current practising certificate.
• Experience in aged care or clinical leadership preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a fixed-term maternity leave contract, working night shifts at Killarney Vale Care Community from October 2026 to February 2027.

As a Registered Nurse, you'll provide clinical leadership and exceptional care to residents while working collaboratively with care teams, families, and healthcare professionals. This role offers autonomy and responsibility on night duty while ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care.
