Bethanie Group in Bunbury is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support residents at BethanieElanora Aged Care Home on a casual basis. You will deliver safe nursing care and mentor care staff, with responsibilities including assessments, admissions, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR (HLTAID009) certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Aged care experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and professionally.
• Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to use clinical information systems.
• Willingness to uphold Bethanie Group's Mission, Vision and Values.
• Willingness to obtain vaccinations (COVID and annual flu).
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to apply.

We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurse to provide daily support to our residents at BethanieElanora, Aged Care Home in Bunbury.

This role is offered on a Casual Basis.

The Role

• Take immediate action to ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner, while providing direction to Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers
• Complete assessment and / or admission requirements
• Maintain an effective referral system to senior nursing staff, medical staff and / or allied health staff
• Ensure that clinical records reflect care, in line with all accreditation standards and legislative requirements
• Provide mentoring and training to employees where required

About You

• Currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
• Current CPR (HLTAID009) Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Relevant clinical experience in an aged care environment is an advantage, but is not essential
• Ability to work independently and professionally
• Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to confidently use clinical information systems
• Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations (minimum of one covid and annual flu)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one)
