Job summary

Bethanie Group in Mandurah seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Bethanie Health Practice team on a casual basis. You will work with GPs and nursing staff to deliver advanced clinical assessments, prescribe where appropriate, and support referrals for older Australians in primary and aged care settings.

The role emphasizes evidence-based, person-centred care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team in a community-focused health service.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration and NP endorsement.
• Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing and Master of Nursing (NP).
• Current Prescriber Number and Medicare Provider Number (or eligible).
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and treatment planning skills.

We are currently seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Bethanie Health Practice team and Bethanie Peel, Mandurah, working alongside a collaborative team of General Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners committed to delivering innovative, high-quality patient-centred care.

This role is offered on aCasual Basis.

About the role

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide advanced clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, prescribing, and referrals for older Australians within a primary care and aged care setting. Working closely with our General Practitioners and clinical teams, you will play an integral role in improving health outcomes through evidence-based, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration and endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Bachelor of Science (Registered Nursing) and Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)
• Current Prescriber Number and Medicare Provider Number (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic and treatment planning capabilities
• Well-developed computer skills, including experience using clinical software systems
• Experience working in aged care is desirable but not essential
• Passion for working collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
