About the Role Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH), established in 1882, is one of Australia’s most respected hospitals with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national, and international communities. As a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare, RPAH offers world-class facilities and services. Our dedicated, innovative, and caring staff are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. The Cardiac Cath Lab and Day Stay Unit is a dynamic unit in which the successful applicant will encounter multiple cutting edge cardiovascular procedures and provides a 24 hour, 7 day a week emergency cover. In this role, you will participate in pre and post procedural care of the patient in the Cardiac Day Stay Unit as well as rotate to the labs to scrub/scout for interventional cardiac, vascular, electrophysiology, implantable devices, and stuctural heart procedures. The Cardiac Day Stay Unit operates 0700-1930 hrs, Monday to Friday and the Cath Lab procedural rooms operate during business hours Monday to Friday with an on-call service covering out of hours emergency cases.
