Job summary

Roshana Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Macleay Valley Aged Care in Frederickton, NSW, in a casual, permanent part-time or full-time capacity. You will lead clinical care, assess residents, and work with families and a multidisciplinary team to promote wellbeing.

You will oversee delivery of clinical and allied services, support staff, and ensure safe practices, reporting any hazards. AHPRA registration and nursing qualifications are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Tertiary nursing qualifications and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to assess needs and develop person-centred care plans.
• Experience in aged care or mental health care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to care staff and ensures alignment with care plans.
• Completes assessments during admission and updates as needs change.
• Develops resident care plans with input from residents, families, GP and allied health staff.
• Reports exceptional events promptly to managers and contributes to quality initiatives.
• Promotes safe working practices and supports multidisciplinary teamwork.
