Job summary

Calvary Muswellbrook Retirement Community is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Aged Care team on a permanent part-time basis with Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts. The role focuses on clinical leadership, staff support and delivering high-quality care to residents.

The successful candidate will hold APHRA registration, NDIA check, and have experience in aged care, with strong communication and IT skills. Flexible hours and professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Current APHRA registration is mandatory.
• NDIS check or willingness to obtain is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience in aged care or health care.
• Strong communication and IT skills with basic Word/Excel knowledge.

About the Role

Position: Permanent Part Time opportunities with a rangeof Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts available - Tell us what you're looking for!

Salary: As per EA, hourly rate depends on experience. Rate starting from $42.73 up to $53.53 per hour exclusive of superannuation.

In this role, you will provide clinical leadership, support staff, and ensure compliance with all legislative and clinical standards. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and enhancing the well-being and lifestyle of our residents.

Location

Muswellbrook is located in the Upper Hunter NSW which is known as the World's famous wine country.

Comparatively affordable living where you can choose from town living or a property. It's also only 1 hours and 45 minutes from Newcastle/ Lake Macquarie NSW when you feel like a beach visit as well as only 2 hours and 45 minutes from Sydney.

About you

• Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) (mandatory)
• Current NDIS check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
• High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
• An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing
• Understanding of and ability to manage human resource issues with effective negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand and use information technology and programs such as Word, Excel, etc. and to learn new skills as required.
• Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care or health care
