Job summary

Calvary Muswellbrook Retirement Community is seeking a Registered Nurse for permanent part-time positions with morning, afternoon, and night shifts. Hourly rate starts from $42.73 and rises to $53.53 depending on experience, exclusive of superannuation.

You will provide clinical leadership, support staff, and ensure compliance with legislative and clinical standards while delivering high-quality care to residents in a welcoming, not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Current APHRA registration is mandatory.
• NDIS check or willingness to obtain.
• High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
• Effective listening and written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to understand and manage human resource issues with negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and IT skills; willingness to learn new skills.
• Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care or health care.

In this role, you will provide clinical leadership, support staff, and ensure compliance with all legislative and clinical standards. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and enhancing the well-being and lifestyle of our residents.

Location

Muswellbrook is located in the Upper Hunter NSW which is known as the World's famous wine country.

Comparatively affordable living where you can choose from town living or a property. It's also only 1 hours and 45 minutes from Newcastle/ Lake Macquarie NSW when you feel like a beach visit as well as only 2 hours and 45 minutes from Sydney.

About you

• Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) (mandatory)
• Current NDIS check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
• High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
• An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing
• Understanding of and ability to manage human resource issues with effective negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand and use information technology and programs such as Word, Excel, etc. and to learn new skills as required.
• Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care or health care
