Job summary

Calvary is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a casual or permanent part-time role on the Mid North Coast, NSW. You will deliver clinical and holistic care to residents and provide clinical leadership while ensuring compliance with aged care regulations.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage day-to-day clinical issues, and communicate effectively with residents, families and staff to uphold Calvary’s high standard of care.

Qualifications

• APRA-registered nurse with current registration.
• Minimum 12 months' experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge of aged care legislation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and holistic care to residents.
• Provide clinical leadership to staff and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Support and lead a multidisciplinary team.

Casual or Permanent Part time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at Calvary located in Mid North Coast, NSW.

The position of Registered Nurse is an essential part of our integrated team united by our common goal to deliver excellent care, every day. As a Registered Nurse you will be providing clinical and holistic care to our clients.

AstheRegistered Nurseyou areresponsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.

What you bring

• Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
• Min 12 month experience as Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
• Ability to support and lead a multi- disciplinary team
• Knowledge on the restrictive practices and behavioural management
• Experience in a clinical leadership role with ability to manage day to day clinical issues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
