Job summary

Calvary Home Care - Mid North Coast is seeking a Registered Nurse for casual or permanent part-time roles in the Mid North Coast NSW region. You will provide clinical leadership, deliver holistic care, and ensure compliance with regulations to support residents’ quality of life.

Requirements include APHRA registration, 12+ months nursing experience, knowledge of aged care legislation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Registration with APHRA.
• Minimum 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge of legislation governing aged care.
• Ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team.
• Knowledge of restrictive practices and behavioural management.

About the role

Casual or Permanent Part time opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team at Calvary located in Mid North Coast, NSW.

The position of Registered Nurse is an essential part of our integrated team united by our common goal to deliver excellent care, every day. As a Registered Nurse you will be providing clinical and holistic care to our clients.

AstheRegistered Nurseyou areresponsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.

What you bring

• Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
• Min 12 month experience as Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
• Ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team
• Knowledge on the restrictive practices and behavioural management
• Experience in a clinical leadership role with ability to manage day to day clinical issues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
