Job summary

Calvary Health Care in NSW is seeking a Registered Nurse for a casual or permanent part-time position on the Mid North Coast. You will deliver clinical and holistic care, provide clinical leadership, and help ensure regulatory compliance to maintain high standards of care for residents.

The role requires current APHRA registration, at least 12 months RN experience, and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current APHRA registration.
• Minimum 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Knowledge of aged care legislation.
• Ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team.
• Knowledge of restrictive practices and behavioural management.
• Experience in a clinical leadership role addressing day-to-day issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to staff and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Deliver clinical and holistic care to residents/clients.
• Support and lead the multidisciplinary team in daily operations.

Registered Nurse

The position of Registered Nurse is an essential part of our integrated team united by our common goal to deliver excellent care, every day. As a Registered Nurse you will be providing clinical and holistic care to our clients.

As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.

What You Bring

• Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
• Min 12 month experience as Registered Nurse
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
• Ability to support and lead a multi- disciplinary team
• Knowledge on the restrictive practices and behavioural management
• Experience in a clinical leadership role with ability to manage day to day clinical issues
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
