Job summary

Calvary Mt Carmel Retirement Community in Maitland (NSW) seeks a Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership and ensure regulatory compliance for a high standard of resident care. This permanent role supports a multi-disciplinary team across aged care services, with a roster of four shifts per fortnight and opportunities for additional shifts during leave cover.

The successful applicant will be an AHPRA-registered nurse with knowledge of aged care legislation, willing to undergo NDIS checks,

Qualifications

• Must hold current AHPRA registration.
• NDIS check completed or willing to obtain.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Aged Care legislation and standards.
• Ability to support a multi-disciplinary team.
• Commitment to care in a mission-based organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to staff and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver high standard of care for residents across services at the Maitland site.

About The Role

As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents. Calvary Mt Carmel provides quality care for 41 residents and also offers respite accommodation and independent living. On offer is 4 permanent shifts a fortnight with opportunity for extra shifts for leave coverage. The roster is as follows; Week 1 - Monday afternoon, Wednesday morning & Friday afternoon. Week 2 - Wednesday morning.

About You

• Registered Nurse with current Registration with AHPRA
• Current NDIS check or willingess to obtain
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing the Aged Care
• Ability to support a multi-disciplinary team
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
