Job summary

Calvary in Ryde, NSW is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse - Aged Care to join our team on a casual basis, working across night shifts. You will provide high-quality, resident-centered care and contribute to a supportive, mission-driven organisation.

The role requires APHRA registration, knowledge of aged care legislation, and the ability to assess and plan care for older residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
• Knowledge of the legislation governing aged care.
• Commitment to contemporary aged care practice.
• Ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team.
• Knowledge and experience in assessment and care planning of the older person.
• Desire to work in a mission-driven organisation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments during the night shift.
• Develop and implement personalised care plans for residents.
• Administer medications and monitor residents’ health.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic well-being of residents.

About the role

Calvary is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse - Aged Care to join our team in Ryde on a Casual basis working across variety of shifts. This is an opportunity to be part of an organisation that values its staff and is committed to providing exceptional care to our residents.

As a Registered Nurse - Aged Care, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for our elderly residents during the night shift. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing personalised care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the holistic well-being of our residents.

About you
