Job summary

Arcare Aged Care on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care that enhances residents’ daily living and safety, in line with Arcare’s values, policies and clinical standards.

Shift times are 1:45pm–6:45pm, Mon–Sun, with above-award rates, superannuation and shift penalties where applicable; you will undertake health assessments, medication management, wound care, care planning, documentation, pain control, emergency response and

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration is essential.
• Understanding of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Warm, compassionate with residents.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent communication with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management.
• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection.
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs.
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase.
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies.
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies.
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support.
