Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Registered Nurse in NSW to provide high-quality, person-centred care for residents in a supportive team.

You will perform health assessments, monitor vital signs, manage medications and contribute to care planning, wound care, pain management, and emergency responses in a warm, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current nursing registration in Australia.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Aware of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
• Wound assessment, treatment and prevention of infection.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical records using eCase.
• Manage pain and monitor medications.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, while adhering to Arcare’s values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management
• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support
