Job summary

Bolton Clarke’s The Terraces in Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality resident care and support independence.

You will monitor care plans, engage with residents, families and the care team, and participate in a collaborative environment that values dignity, safety and professional growth. AHPRA registered nurses with 12 months' experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse
• AHPRA registration is required
• Valid working rights in Australia
• NDIS Worker Screen or National Police check (or willing to obtain)

About The Location

The Terraces, a 148 bed residential aged care facility located in Varsity Lakes. It is near the beautiful beaches of the Gold Coast, as well as several shopping centres, schools, public transport, restaurants and a vast range of health and community services.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide a range of clinical care and support services for our residents, assisting them to experience a greater level of independence and ensuring their health and wellness are supported.

These include:

• Providing and monitoring the care of residents
• Using a systematic approach to clinical decision-making
• Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
• Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes
• Participating in the development of a supportive environment with the team

To be successful, you will have

• Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse (desirable in-charge)
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• NDIS Workers Screen and or a National Police check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
• Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
