Job summary

Bolton Clarke Farnorha home in Westcourt, Cairns, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide a range of clinical care and support for residents, helping them maintain independence while ensuring health and wellness.

You will hold relevant qualifications with AHPRA registration, have at least 12 months RN experience, and be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff. A generous salary packaging plan, private health insurance and gym discounts are on offer.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide a range of clinical care and support services for our residents, assisting them to experience a greater level of independence and ensuring their health and wellness are supported.

• Providing and monitoring the care of residents

• Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
• Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes

To be successful, you will have

• Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse (desirable in-charge)
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• NDIS Workers Screen and or a National Police check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
• Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
