Job summary

Bolton Clarke Chelsea in Maryborough is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and monitor resident care, support independence and ensure health and wellness. You will work with a caring team to apply best-practice nursing and advocate for residents.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is required to practice as a nurse in Australia.
• 12 months minimum RN experience is desirable, with in-charge experience preferred.
• NDIS Worker screening and/or National Police check (or willingness to obtain) before start.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Strong passion for elder care and commitment to resident respect and dignity.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide a range of clinical care and support services for our residents, assisting them to experience a greater level of independence and ensuring their health and wellness are supported.

• Providing and monitoring the care of residents
• Using a systematic approach to clinical decision-making
• Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
• Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes
• Participating in the development of a supportive environment with the team

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse (desirable in-charge)
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• NDIS Workers Screen and or a National Police check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
• Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
