Job summary

Calvary is seeking Registered Midwives to provide comprehensive care in the Birth Suite and Postnatal Ward. Relocation may be available and roles include full-time, part-time and casual positions.

You will support infants and mothers, assist with breastfeeding, and guide junior staff and students while delivering high-quality care in our Brisbane facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered midwife with AHPRA.
• Experience in Birth Suite and Postnatal Ward is preferred.
• Ability to support and supervise junior staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Postnatal and Birth Suite care of women and infants.
• Breastfeeding support and initiation.
• Provide guidance to less senior staff, enrolled nurses and student nurses.

The Registered Midwife provides provision of comprehensive care of a specific group of patients. Provide support and direction to less senior registered colleagues, enrolled and Student Nurses and AINs

Your main duties will include:

• Postnatal and Birth Suite care of women and infants
• Breastfeeding assistance

About you

• Registered Midwives for the Birth suite and Postnatal Ward
• Eligible for AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
• Experienced midwives preferred.
