Job summary

Calvary Health Care in Hobart, TAS, invites Registered Midwives to join our private maternity team across permanent full-time, part-time and casual roles. You will contribute to pregnancy, birth and postnatal care within a supportive, woman-centred framework.

Qualifications

• Registered Midwife with AHPRA and current registration.
• Commitment to evidence-based, woman-centred care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
• Experience in birth suite, antenatal, postnatal or special care nursery is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Our specialist maternity service includes:

• 21 maternity beds
• 5 dedicated birth suites
• Level 2 Special Care Nursery with 9 cots
• Lactation Consultant services
• Parent Education Programs
• A collaborative multidisciplinary maternity care model
